New HIV treatment approved by EU

"American drug-maker ViiV Healthcare, which specialises in HIV, announced Monday (21 December) that the European Commission gas had rubber-stumped the revolutionary, long-acting regimen, after it was first submitted to the bloc’s medicine authority last year.

The treatment consists of two drugs known as cabotegravir and rilpivirine, the latter developed by Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, that are injected once a month, or once every other month, by a healthcare provider into the buttocks.

This reduces the number times a person living with HIV receives treatment from 365, on a daily pill, to six or 12, and was found to be as effective as current daily antiviral therapy in the clinical trials in maintaining viral suppression."

And so I spent the day mostly writing a tech talk for non-tech people.

Also playing silly games and sometimes booping a Dragon's nose.

Somehow doing all this it got really late.

Yule+ Food+

I survived the festivities and people seemed to like the things I made (so many beads).

now I am enjoying trying to balance festive food consumption against how much my intolerances will let me get away with.

And write a technical talk for s nontechnical audience :)

A poll for cisgender lesbians! Which statement fits your views best?

(RT this to boost it out of my circle because I'm trans so bias etc.)

a) Trans women are women and deserve recognition and rights

b) Trans women are men and shouldn't be recognised as such

Boris Johnson briefs cabinet on breakthrough and is expected to address nation early on Christmas Eve"

Overdramatic git that he is Johnson may be attempting to deliver a christmas (with associated bump in numbers they'll blame on the populace) and a brexit deal all in one. Plan is maybe an arbitrator for assigning tariffs when the Tories try to fuck with human rights.

Me: Okay then, better write up a few cute little notes to go with these few cute little presents I've been making for friends and feel all friendly and festive!

The Milan scrape was only notable because they made their findings public.

If a university scraping feeds did it, it's safe to assume other, bigger organizations have been doing it for much longer.

So I've gotten hold of a fly fishing knot tying tool for tying barrel knots between beads for meditation tools.

Seems in the US there's like a specialist rosary tying tool that looks ... pretty much the same (has a groove down the middle of a metal tube) but maybe is more rounded and less pointy/angular.

Is there a source of this kind of thing in the UK? What tools do other people use for this? Why aren't the catholics importing enough tools to make my sinister pagan life easier? :)

Putting that out as a request for info, actually. Does anyone know of anywhere I can read about hysterectomy/menopause in non-binary people, what hormones people do or don't take for it, and how it's affected their mood? Boosts welcomed.
